The good yummy Indian breakfast

Breakfast- The most important meal of the day.

Despite the healthful benefits, breakfast may be the meal that is most often neglected or skipped. Eating breakfast not only aids in weight management, it fuels the body to help provide energy, better concentration and problem-solving ability throughout the day,

Why breakfast?

Breakfast is the first chance the body has to refuel its glucose levels, also known as blood sugar, after eight to 12 hours without a meal or snack. Glucose is essential for the brain and is the main energy source. Blood glucose also helps fuel the muscles needed for physical activity throughout the day.

Breakfast is also very important for weight loss and weight management, You 'break the fast' of not eating for the past eight to 12 hours. It helps curb your hunger and prevent binge eating later in the day. Breakfast is important to manage your weight and potentially lose weight by eating less calories throughout the day.

In India, there are varieties of breakfast items available which are nutritious and provide the required amount of energy to sustain throughout the day. Breakfast foods differ from region to region. Let us review some of the common breakfast items.

·                     Oats with milk and fruits – Oats is gaining lots of popularity these days owing to its high content of soluble fibre and its benefit in reducing cholesterol in the body. So oats with skimmed milk and fresh fruits are a very good option especially for those who are on a weight reduction diet.

·                     Idli and dosa – made from rice and pulse, it gives good amount of energy and proteins and if had with Vegetable sambar, it contributes to vitamins and minerals.

·                     Upma – there are varieties of upma prepared, most of them with semolina which is energy rich. However Upma prepared with broken wheat and vegetables is very nutritious because of its fiber content.

·                     Corn/Rice/Wheat flakes – Corn flakes are very popular breakfast item. Now a days you have variety of them availble in the market which is fortified with calcium/Iron or Vitamins. It is very nutritious when taken with skimmed milk and fresh fruits.

·                     Sandwiches – prepared with vegetables/shredded chicken and brown bread is a complete breakfast food containing all the vital nutrients and of course fibre. For those people who are looking to lose weight, cheese or mayonnaise should be avoided.

·                     Bread omlet – is a high protein breakfast food and very much recommended especially for children, atheletes and those who are looking to build muscles. However people with cholesterol or any heart problems should prepare the omlet only with egg white

·                     Stuffed parathas – if prepared with less oil, parathas are very nutritious and an ideal breakfast item. The stuffing can be anything ranging from potatoes, raddish, cauliflower, sprouted green gram(moong), paneer (prepared from skimmed milk) and so on.

Some common methods of hair removal with pros and cons

Everyone is usually born with hair or the ability to grow hair…ultimately if born bald hair will grow. We have hair all over our bodies in both good and bad places. When we have hair in places we really do not want it, we have to decide which method of hair removal we want to use. Some methods are more painful then others, as many women already know.

Followings are the some pros and cons of hair removal

Waxing
definition: Spreading heated wax over the area where you want hair removed, letting it dry, then pulling it off--hair, roots and all. The most common wax job is a bikini wax, especially in bathing suit season.

frequency: Lasts four to six weeks.

cost: If you do it at home, not much more than depilatories or bleaching, but having it done by a pro can cost almost the same as a haircut at a beauty salon. $$ - $$$$

pain: Sort of like ripping an adhesive bandage off a large area of skin. Some redness and irritation can follow.

pros: Removes hair for anywhere from two to six weeks.

cons: Ripping hair out by its roots with hot wax is very painful. Having it done professionally can be expensive. (Note: Also ask about "sugaring" and "threading," which operate on the same basic principle as waxing.)

tip: Some people like to use a loofah or other abrasive sponge between waxing sessions to avoid the development of "ingrown hairs."

Plucking

definition: Pulling hair out one by one with a pair of tweezers.

frequency: As needed. Once you tweeze a hair, it's gone for a good month, but others grow nearby.

cost: If you do it yourself, nothing, once you've bought the tweezers. $

pain: Hurts for a second or two, especially in sensitive areas.

pros: You do it yourself (you control cost, the extent and whether or not to continue doing it).

cons: It can hurt at the time. It's only temporary.

Laser hair removal

definition: Invented in 1995, laser hair removal involves waxing first to remove hair, then rubbing a carbon-based lotion on the skin, then passing a laser over the area. Follicles are damaged, but not the skin. It is said to work best for people with light skin and dark hair.

frequency: Results are not permanent, but they are long-term.

cost: Very expensive. Price varies according to the area being treated, but most treatments will cost at least a thousand dollars. $$$$$$

pain: Less painful than electrolysis, except to the wallet.

pros: Near-permanent hair removal.

cons: Thousands of rupees so you won't grow hair. An inexperienced technician may burn your skin.

Depilatory

definition: A cream or gel that you put on the area where you want hair removed. It burns, melts and otherwise damages the hair roots. Then you wash the stuff off along with your hair..

frequency: Lasts a couple of weeks to a month.

cost: Not prohibitive. Buy a reputable product at your drugstore. $ $

pain: Can burn or irritate sensitive areas. (Always follow the directions carefully, and use only on the recommended parts of your body.)

pros: You do it yourself and the result is a very smooth, hairless area that lasts longer than shaving.

cons: It can burn or leave sensitive skin red. It smells bad, even the stuff labeled "fresh scent." It can be a severe skin and eye irritant, and dark-haired users may have a visible "shadow" of hair under the skin.

Bleaching

definition: Chemically lightening the color of hair.

frequency: Depends on how fast your hair grows; usually lasts about a month. Repeat when hair becomes two-tone.

cost: Slightly more than depilatories. Buy a name brand. $ $

pain: Can cause some irritation in sensitive areas. Might be wise to test it on some less visible area first.

pros: Doesn't involve removing the hair, so you don't have to deal with how the hair will come back (no stubble, just dark).

cons: It is a chemical, so the skin may get irritated. It doesn't remove the hair, so if there is a lot of it, even if it is blond, it may be visible. May actually make hair more visible against dark skin.

Shaving

definition: Using a razor to cut off hair right at the skin.

frequency: Daily to weekly depending on how fast the hair grows. (Can be done less often in winter).

cost: Just the cost of razors and cream or soap. $ $

pain: None, if you don't cut yourself. But can cause some irritation.

pros: You do it yourself anytime.

cons: Once you start shaving, hair comes back nubby and potentially thicker. Can cause ingrown hairs. Razor burns, shaving nicks and other razor mishaps can also cause discomfort.

Electrolysis

definition: A qualified practitioner inserts a filament, or long thin needle, into each individual hair follicle and zaps it with an electric current. This is the only permanent, or nearly permanent, method of hair removal. It's used mostly for facial hair.

frequency: To remove, say, a mustache, usually requires weekly visits for a few months (because new hair grows all the time); then you can taper off with touch-up visits.

cost: Expensive. Probably several hundred dollars for a mustache; less if you're just having a few stray whiskers removed. $$$$$

pain: No picnic, but not as bad as a hard day at the dentist. Helps to take ibuprofen or another pain reliever about a half hour before. There are also creams that you can rub on your skin to temporarily numb the area.

pros: Hair removal is eventually permanent.

cons: Each session is very expensive, the treatment is fairly painful, and you need to find a good practitioner in order for the work to be permanent and to avoid slip-ups that can cause scarring.

causKgoo<W<. Razor burns, shaving nicks and other razor mishaps can also cause discomfort.

Trimming

definition: Using scissors to cut unwanted hair (like pubic hair that hangs out of your bathing suit).

frequency: As needed.

cost: Nothing, once you have the scissors. $

pain: None.

pros: You do it yourself, and it doesn't hurt.

cons: Though it reduces the length of the hair, it doesn't remove it from sight.

pain rvro<W<half hour before.

How to avoid your breakup

You start to feel less connection and interest from your lover every day, as he seem to stay away from you or stop taking care of you. Think about when you first met each other. Then try recalling the reasons why you both got together,

As relationships progress, so does life. Your finances could increase or decrease, family members can affect your lives for better or for worse, and so on. Life situations influence the dynamics between a couple, and they must try to prepare themselves to deal with it.

Even though some breakups can happen by surprise, it can hurt just as much or more when you are stuck in a relationship where there is no love. If your relationship is in trouble and you fear the inevitable, here are some suggestions that may help you to save it

Take time to tell your partner why you love him.

Not once, but often. This can be something as small as a compliment on how they look. Your partner needs to know you appreciate them. Don't just assume they know. Everyone likes to be reminded they are loved.

Are your lines of communication open?

A healthy relationship needs open avenues of communication. Arguments, sarcasm and snide comments are not communication and you need to learn to communicate with respect. Considering that you would not speak to friends or colleagues in that manner, why would you speak that way to a loved one?

Don't Lie!

Everyone lies occasionally. It's in our nature. This isn't an excuse to lie to your partner. Every time you are caught in a lie, a little more trust is taken away. A healthy relationship requires trust. Never ever lie about things important to the relationship. You're better off facing the music if you've done something wrong then being caught in a lie.

Are you hearing?

Are your partner's interests something that you pay attention to? Do you really listen to what your partner is saying and give him/her equal time to explain his/her side? Sometimes we turn a deaf ear to all except what we view to be right. Talk in a normal tone and really listen to the other side of the story next time there is a conflict. You are not always the only one who is right, and you could be missing something that is important if you would just listen.

Never try to solve a problem when you are angry.

Take time to cool down. I know this can seem impossible at times but think about it. Is anything ever really solved when you are yelling at each other?

Are you a good listener?

Do you have any idea what your partner's interests are? Do you hear their opinion when you argue and let them have a fair chance to explain their point of view? There are times when we just have to be right and we won't listen to anything someone else says. When a problem presents itself, try to be calm and open-minded to your partner's opinions and listen to them. Otherwise, you may miss hearing something important and, yes, sometimes you are wrong.

Resist making accusations.

Approach your partner calmly, without being defensive. Tell him/her the problem. Don't be accusing or they will become defensive and yes, you will end up in an argument. If you find it's easier to write it in a letter, then do so. Leave while they read it so you aren't hovering over them, waiting for their reaction. Let them process what you have said. Again, do not be accusing. Tell them you want to make your relationship better. Have suggestions for BOTH of you, not just them. Be sure you know the core problem and aren't just mentioning a symptom.

Be supportive and look for ways to give your partner the things they need the most.

Even if they don't tell you what they need, you can figure it out if you pay attention. Some people have a hard time telling you what they need but there are clues. If you're not sure, ask.

Don't listen to anything that is not true.

Do you continuously imagine false situations about what your mate does or thinks? That little voice in your head tells you things like your mate has lost the desire for you since they didn't stop what they were doing at a time when you needed attention. Ignore those mistaken beliefs because they are distorting reality for you.

Be patience

No matter how bad is the situation, you need to be patience to act upon it. A person with high temper creates more troubles during arguments. Perhaps, you must always stay calm and listen to the opinions of the other side. If you are arguing with your partner, never ever raise up your voice when dealing with this circumstances. This can prevent conflict from happen thus easy to handle. If you have the patience, you will always stay calm in handle any bad conditions. The more patience you have, the lesser breakup will occur during an argument.

Try to stop being demanding.

Not being able to do things without your significant other nearby is unhealthy for your relationship. Dependency has led to a number of relationship failures. You need to understand that it is normal and necessary for you and your mate to take some time apart to do little things, like shopping. If you discover that you want to spend all of your time with your mate, take this as a sign that you should get a hobby that you can do by yourself.

Consider your future

Plan your future with your partner. Consider the future of this relationship. If a relationship without future planning, this relationship will no be last longer. You need to plan out a future plan between you and your partner. In fact, this show you are serious about this relationship and looking forward to extend the growth of it. People like to be love and protected, only love is not good enough to retain the relationship. You have to work out a future plan hence prove that you are more committed.
