BE A FASHION TIMER

amazing watchWe should always be on time at everything we do and everywhere we go, time is an important factor.

For fashionistas also, time is very important because they have to be with fashion, follow the trends because fashion is a thing which comes and changes before we blink our eyes. And to be on time for everything the only thing we need is a”watch”.

Yes, a watch as we need it to see the time and it is the must have accessory of 2010. fashin watch

Now-a-days, a watch is not just a thing to watch the time; it has become a fashion statement.
Today in market a wide variety of wrist watches are available from classic, elegant watches to sports wear, you just have to pick a right watch for right occasion and right dress.

what's inWrist watches comes in a large number of shapes and colors.

If you are wearing a saree or suit, then pick an elegant and classic wrist watch in metal. And if you are in your casual wear then go for a stylish and trendy sports wrist watch.

If you have enough money to spend on wrist watch, then go for brands like Bvlgari, Gucci, Dolce and Gabbana etc. but if you are also a victim of recession, don't worry girls you just have to compromise with the brand and not with fashion.

You will easily find replicas, imitations of those watches.

So, my metroholicas, what are you waiting for, just go in the market and pick your time piece and be on time and Be Fashionable………!!!!!

DRESS TO IMPRESS, NOT TO DEPRESS

Love is like quicksilver in the hand. Leave the fingers open and it stays. Clutch it, and it darts away.

Love is the master key that opens the gates of happiness

Love is the irresistible desire to be irresistibly desired

. Don't get confused my dear fashionistas, I haven't changed my profession, I am not here give you love tips because I am only good @ giving fashion tips, I am just saying these line because the valentine day is coming, the day which makes you feel special because it is special occasion for everyone who is in love and on this special day you have to look your best, and as always I am here to help you.

I always tell what should you wear, but today I will tell you what should you not wear this valentine.

The first and the most important thing you should keep in mind is, wear what makes you feel comfortable or what suits you, going on date doesn't means going on red carpet, otherwise besides giving attention to your spouse, you will only be giving attention to your dress.

Secondly, remember its just valentine day….not your wedding day, so, keep your make-up very minimal, guys like girls with natural beauty.

Thirdly, don't go for too loud hairstyles, try to avoid wigs, just keep your hair simple, go for a straight hair look or layers or few curls will also help.

That little black dress looks sexy and suits every occasion, but this valentine don't wear anything that is too short and revealing.

I know girls you like wearing harem pants, they make you very comfortable but girls don't you dare wear them on valentine day, you are not going to hang around with you college friends.

Whatever you wear, please don't wear flats with them, they are in fashion but for that day heels are perfect but don't extend you heels more than 3 inches.

And now as I have told you what not to wear, I think I should give you a few tips on what should you wear.
If you are going on a dinner that day, than wear a one piece dress but not too long and not too short, it should be knee length.

And if you are going out in day time than jeans will do the best with a nice cute top, it can be a one shoulder top, or bell sleeve or bishop sleeve top.

And if don't know where your guy is taking you, you will at least be knowing at what time you are going, than dress accordingly as mentioned above.

And the colors for the evening are red, black and pink, I mean they are the must to add colors, don't go for a overall red look, just mix n mix n match them.

And one more thing, I know you will be pampered that day with lots of gifts, but it doesn't means that you should carry a big bag, don't carry it, else carry a cute and stylish looking clutch with whatever you wear @ whatever time you are going.

And the most important thing is whatever you wear, don't forget to carry a smile on your face as you will look best with that and I am sure that your beloved will also love it the most as they say "beauty lies in the eyes of beholder".

So dear metroholicas just follow these simple rules and Be Fashionable….!!!!

FASHION PLAYER

Hey my dear fashion addicts, the spring/summer of 2010 is going to arrive and I am here to wake you up and fulfill you life with a thing that will energize you and that is shopping….!!!!!
Yes…the summer is coming back and this summer the latest fashion is sports.Dont worry I am not asking you to play any, just telling to start loving them because this year the biggest and latest fashion is the sportswear.

In the late 70's and 80's,people started playing sports and that was the time they made sportswear but they wore it only @ the time of playing but soon they started them wearing in their day to day life as these clothes made them feel comfortable and now sportswear is back in 2010 but with a fashionable touch. In 2010 sportswear will not only be seen on the playing grounds but on streets too in its entire sexy, lithe, and graceful splendor.
Even the biggest designers also showcased their spring/summer collection with sports wear; sportswear was seen on all the runways, it has already become a huge hit.
Fashion is now extremely sportswear by the way of scuba-inspired bodysuits and dresses complete with buckles, pants low slung to expose the waistband; leather cross-lacing, jersey fabrics, pleated skirts, even if you are going to wear any long or knee length one piece dress, try to add pleats anywhere in the garment and stonewashed bodysuit given modern flair; soft ballet pinks and creams transferred into skinny pants. All these garments can be @ any time of the day.
This sportswear look will not only make you feel comfortable but will also make you look sexy, elegant, confident, stylish and bold.

The most perceptible piece to make a comeback is the tracksuit trouser, but the trend also includes hooded jackets, jersey sweaters and even cycling shorts, all twisted and molded according to this century.
And for the accessories there is whole range of sports shoes or sports footwear is available in the market, big sized handbags with funky prints and buckles will also give you a sporty look. For a complete sporty look, keep you hair a little messy.
Its not necessary that you can always go right with sports wear, while wearing sports wear, avoid midriff-flashing, cut-off tops and please don't try to look more funky through experimenting by wearing cycling shorts alone as you will look complete disaster, unless you are actually going in the ground to play some sports.
So, dear metroholicas start buying your kind of sportswear clothes and start playing but with fashion and Be Fashionable………!!!!!!!!!

BACK IN FASHION- DUNGAREES TREND 2010

Hello my dear fashion followers, I am back here…just to keep you updated with new fashion trends….to tell you…what to wear…and what not to wear in spring/summer 2010.

You must be thinking that it's still shivering and I am telling you the summer trends, but my readers and bloggers get an advantage of staying one step forward than the others, and it's high time to start buying summer clothes as they just going to arrive soon.

In the year 2010, the biggest and stylish comeback has been made by Dungarees; yes they are back in fashion and that too with a bang…..!!!!! That means with innovative styles.

These are trousers with an attached front patch covering the chest and with attached braces which go over the shoulders. Often people use the word "overall" for the bib type garment only and not for a boiler suit.

The term "dungaree" was associated with a coarse undyed calico fabric that was made and sold in a region near Dongari Killa (also called Fort George) in Bombay (now Mumbai) in India.

But I know you are very less interested in its history, the latest new is dungarees are back in again! With a high waist, these jeans were made to wear with braces in an old-school style that draws inspiration from the rodeo look as well as Seventies trends.

Dungarees can be considered a universal garment, because they are worn by millions of people all over the world.

Commonly known as jumper skirts, the versatile dungaree has bounced back. Many fashion-conscious collegians are now switching from their blue denims to colorful dungaree skirts. Available in many colors, these feminine jumpers are a common sight in colleges today.

Today dungarees come in a huge range of sizes, colors, fits and forms. Dungarees may be tight or loose-fitting, stone-washed or deep indigo, and frayed or formal. Dungaree comes now in each and every fabric. Sloppy dungarees in shimmering fabrics provide a fashionable alternative to a party dress.

You can also experiment or convert it into your style. It's really very simple if you will follow my advice.

* Just buy a simple pair of loose fitted dungaree in any color but I will prefer blue.

* And than just cut it from bottom to calf level and than put elastic in the bottom level and then sew it.

* Or make it one shoulder, it is normally of two shoulders so don't cut the other shoulder just overlap both the shoulders and stitch them together, in this way it will not fall and will look stylish.

* Or just embellish it in your own style like paste on it patches, flowers, feathers, stones, chains or whatever you are fond of, whatever you like, you can even paint on it by using fabrics colors, paint your favorite cartoon or quotations…just explore your imagination. In this way you will not have to spend a lot, and you can stay updated with trends.

Some people think this is not stylish, it's just for small kids, but dungarees look cool as well stylish and trendy and that's the reason they have made a comeback this season also.

So, dear metroholicas don't waste your time in thinking just go in the market, you will find it everywhere, and grab you style of piece, before anyone else does it so and Be Fashionable……………!!!!!!!!!

FASHION FOREVER-COTTON

Cotton was invented in India, thousands of centuries ago. At that time, it was worn by all the sadhus and saints of India, which was dropped over the body just as a mere piece of clothing without stitching it.

But as the time passed it took place as the most ethnic and richest fabric of India.

Years ago, cotton was worn mostly in India but the men in the form of dhotis, shirts, lungees and by women in the form of plain sarees and simple salwar-kameez.

But as the time has changed with a fast speed, fashion has also taken drastic changes and even the cotton has been reinvented.

Cotton has become the most wanted fabric not only in India but universally.

Designers has given new birth to the cotton, now most of the fashion garments are made with cotton from tops, shirts, skirts, dresses, gowns, trousers, you just have to think about cotton and you will find garment of your choice.

It is an advantage of cotton that it can be mixed with any other type of fabric and can work miracles. Cotton has many forms like organic cotton and that is called the cotton of new era.

APPLIQUE WORK FOR YOUR WARDROBE

Fashion is the second name of innovation, designers and fashion followers always tries to bring new things and ideas in the fashion world but this is also a place where " the old is always gold".

The old fashion doesn't loose its grip and keeps coming back again and again in a fresh way.

Today I am talking about appliqué work, it is a technique of embroidery which was introduced in India years ago but as history repeats itself, fashion too, the appliqué work is back on the ramp, the stores everywhere.

Now- a-days you will find not only clothes with appliqué work but handbags and even footwear is also decorated with the appliqué work.

Appliqué is an ancient cultural art using fabric. The designs created can be for clothing, items of religious significance, banners or quilts

Appliqué means to "place on" fabric pieces that are sewn onto a larger piece of foundation fabric in order to create designs. This kind of craft is often done when the design has to be seen from a distance.

This is a simple method which you can do yourself also; just follow the few simple and easy steps-

1.      Draw Your Appliqué Design

The first you need is a design to appliqué. A simple design with straight sides is easiest for beginners, so consider starting with a block. Either draw your design on the plain paper, or trace the design onto the tracing paper. Keep in mind that the finished appliqué will be a mirror image of your tracing.

2.      Trace onto the Iron-On Adhesive

Place the iron-on adhesive on top of your design, paper side up, and trace your design onto the adhesive. If your design is made up of more than one element, you will need to trace each section separately.

If there are sections next to each other, you need to decide which will go on top of the other. When tracing, extend the line of the bottom section about 1/4 inches where it touches the top one. This will allow you to layer the sections so there won't be any gaps in between them.

3.      Rough Cut the Design

After your design pieces are traced, you need to separate them from the rest of the adhesive. Cut around your tracing lines, about 1/2 to 1 inch away from the lines.

4.      Choose Your Fabrics

This is one of my favorite steps - choose the fabric for each section. To make selecting easier I separate my fabrics into color families. Cotton woven fabrics are the easiest to work with, although you may want to experiment with other fabrics as you gain experience. Beware of fabrics that fray because they often shred when laundered and thicker fabrics like corduroy or velvet may be too difficult for some machines to handle smoothly.

5.      Fuse the Fabric to the Adhesive

Heat your iron according to the directions that came with the adhesive. When the iron is hot, place the preshrunk fabric right (front) side down on your ironing surface and press to remove any wrinkles. Be sure to put the side you want to use face down so you're looking at the back of the fabric.

6.      Cut out the Sections

Cut out each section, following the tracing lines carefully.

7.      Remove the Adhesive Backing

Carefully peel the paper backing from the iron-on adhesive. If the backing is difficult to separate from the adhesive, tear the edge of the paper a little to get things started, or use a fingernail to separate the paper from the fabric.

8.      Iron the Appliqué to Your Item
Place the appliqué, adhesive side down, on the item you're going to apply it to and arrange the sections to match your pattern. If you have several pieces you may need to look at the pattern to remember how the sections fit together. When the appliqué looks the way you want it to, iron it down according to the directions that came with the adhesive.

9.      Add Some Details
using the water soluble pen or pencil, draw in any details you wish to add to the appliqué.

10. Stabilize with Interfacing
Cut a piece of tear-away interfacing large enough to cover the entire appliqué with a border of about 1/2 - 1 inch. Place the interfacing on the wrong side of the item you're appliquéing, under the appliqué. Now this part is a little tricky - holding the interfacing tightly, flip the item over and pin the interfacing on from the front.

  1. Stitch Your Appliqué

Now comes the fun - stitching! Use a Satin stitch if your machine has it, otherwise use a Zig Zag stitch and decrease stitch length until the threads are sewn right next to each other. Line the appliqué up so the raw (unstitched) edge is in the middle of your presser foot and start stitching. Go slowly at first, until you gain some confidence. Slow down as you approach a curve or corner so you don't overshoot the edge.

  1. Trim the Threads

When you're all done stitching carefully trim the loose threads as close to the fabric as you can without cutting the fabric or stitching. I trim the font first because any tiny ends are usually pulled to the back when I grab those threads to trim them. Using a small, sharp scissors makes it easier to trim closely.

  1. Remove the Interfacing

Remove the interfacing by tearing along the stitching. Your needle will have perforated the interfacing so it should come away fairly easily. Use a fingernail along the stitching to get things started, but do not use your scissors or anything sharp as it might poke through the appliqué.

So, you can make or do appliqué work on your clothes and bags yourself by picking up any item which you haven't tried from a long time. Just take that out from your wardrobe and do it yourself.

By doing this you can keep your wardrobe updated in this recession period also. But, if you think you don't have time for all these things, just don't you can find dresses, tops, jackets and handbags with appliqué work very easily in each and every market and store.

So, my dear metroholicas, don't waste your time in thinking just go to market and add a touch of appliqué work in your wardrobe and always Be Fashionable……..!!!!1

LAYER BY LAYER FASHION

Layering clothing is a huge trend that, as with many other trends, has been overindulged. Once it was reserved for nomadic people who had no choice but to carry all their belongings on their back.`

Layering clothes creates an exciting new look. It's a great option for any season of the year. It easily extends your wardrobe.

Layering your clothes is one of the hottest trends in teen fashion at the moment. Plus, it's easy and practical for lots of different situations (school, work, hanging out, etc.).

Dress in layers. It may have once been a marketing ploy to get people to buy more than one piece of clothes, but it also extends the life of your clothes into different occasions and seasons. The truth is, layering clothing is simply versatile.

Layering is mostly done in winters, but we can make our own fashion, why wait for winters to look trendy, you can wear a transparent top over a halter neck t-shirt or top, by doing this you can also keep yourself in touch with another style that is peek-a-boo.

Women can layer their clothes to create a more dramatic effect as they walk and move. Some great layering methods include wearing a tank top under a sheer shawl or a partially buttoned blouse, wearing a trendy jacket over an otherwise dull outfit, covering the waist with a colorful scarf tied to the side or in the front, and so forth. Layering also allows the blending of colorful pieces with one-colored garments in a tasteful way.

Another ways of bringing layer in your clothes are Choose different necklines, such as a v-neck over a scooped neckline or two different scooped necklines. Cover a tank top with a sweater that has an enlarged neckline. Wear the enlarged neckline off your shoulder. Choose different lower hemlines, such as a short top over a long top. Cover a tank top with a long open shirt. Tie the shirt tails into a knot at the front opening

Layering is also good because you don't have to buy new clothes, you can make your own style statement with your old clothes….even with those clothes which you haven't even seen from decades and are waiting for their turn in your wardrobe.

You just have to keep in mind that  be sure of the look. Layering is bulky. Wear a loose garment over a tight garment.

Another most important thing that you have to keep in mind is that keep the accessories minimum otherwise layering can look cluttered

So girls, keep all these things in your mind and create your own new look by yourself, without even spending a penny and be fashionable……!!!!!!!!!!

RUFFLE RUFFLE EVERYWHERE

Feminine, delicate and multi-taskers, ruffles are one of the hottest trends to follow this season. If you are seeking to be the center of all looks and everyone's attention, break the schemes and adopt a unique style like the trendiest ones that starred in the summer runways of top designers

The trend of ruffled tops is quite hot for those who are a bit thinly and skinny. It gives them a fuller look as it successfully adds some volume to the body. However, those who are already fuller must not wear it. Try a metallic, blue or red ruffled top

Ruffles are everywhere from skirts, shirts, smock tunic tops, mini to maxi dresses. Ruffled dresses add shape and femininity to a petite or boyish figure, but if you are closer to an apple shape then do ruffles in moderation. If you are pear-shaped, then concentrate the ruffles on your top half to draw attention away from your bottom and hips.

To reach the effect that ruffles want to meet, one must play with the volume of the outfit, complementing a dramatically ruffled blouse with skinny jeans for a more chic punk girl look.

Flouncy folds and ruffles can be found on everything from bags and shoes to dresses and swimwear. Don't want to over do the e girlie look with one of this season's ruffled dresses? Then go for an on-trend ruffled purse in neon colors.

If you are slender, go for the ruffles along your neckline. If you are fuller figured or have a large bosom, forgo the ruffles but look for smocking or lace trimmings that will catch the eye

Ruffles immediately add femininity, but you have to be careful not to over-ruffle yourself and by doing so, add volume to your body. If you're smaller on top, wearing a ruffled top is a great way to amp up your bust area. Plus, it also looks very elegant. Ruffles also work well as detailing on skirts, sleeves and collars. But the main point to remember with this trend is always wear in moderation!

To keep it stylish buy at least a pair of ruffled dress or top and if can't buy them then at least buy accessorize having ruffle.

So metroholicas adopt this trend before it change to some other trend, go and add ruffles to your wardrobe and Be Fashionable……..!!!!!!

ZIP IT UP

Say goodbye to the days of hiding your zipper because the new trend is now to show your zipper off. Whether it's on your jeans, skirt, dress, bag, shoes, etc.; exposed zippers are everywhere. These zipper accents are the perfect way to add an edgy feel to an otherwise plain article of clothing.

The zipper is a modern fashion-statement, both functional and decorative; metallic zippers on black/white fabrics have a bigger visual impact.

When edgy punks stormed the catwalks of Spring/Summer '09 the key feature on almost every piece was the zip. A slew of celebrity hipsters have embraced the look zipping up in tailored looks with chunky fasteners. Zips have been spotted everywhere on the runways

Zipper is available in everything dresses, pants, tops, skirt, shoes, sandals, accessorise, purses etc etc etc. you name it and market have it.

The exposed zipper has become something to desire for the upcoming seasons, Zippers are popping up in some pretty unexpected places, and the effect is a tough-chic look almost anyone looks good in. Who'd have though that the humble fastening could this much of a stir?

egated to pants and jackets, zippers have broken out and declared themselves an accessory to be loved. From zip up leather thigh highs to brooches, zippers were used in any manner of ways this season.

The nice thing about zipper chic is that no matter how extreme they appear, there's a zipper out there for everybody!

But the most important thing to keep in mind while wearing a zipper outfit is that not to wear any metallic accessories or any other accessories much as you will yourself look like a zipper factory so just keep it simple.

And if you love zipper but are afraid of wearing an outfit of zipper, just don't worry buy any other item consisting of zipper whether it be a neckpiece, earrings, handbags or shoes.

So all my fashion addicts metroholicas what are you waiting for go and pick your kind of zipper stuff from the market and keep yourself updated and Be Fashionable…..!!!!!!

INDIAN CHIC WITH A TWIST

Indian women and their dressing style is considered as the most wearable, comfortable and graceful style in whole world. But with more and more people drowning towards western culture that Indian beauty has been lost down the line.
So designers decided to bring back that feminity with a touch of style and that's why they introduced indo-western suits
Indo-Western fusion garments are usually a combination of Western-style patterns and Indian designs. Usually, in Indo-Western style salwar kameez, decorative stoles are used as an accessory for added effect.
Indo-Western Salwar kameez is the upshot of the fusion of Indian tradition and international trends aiming to give this oriental garment a universal flavor. This suit may have three pieces or can be found without dupatta as well. The kurta is usually short - above the knee or just below the hips. It can be sleeveless or with thin straps or with short sleeves. The salwar of this suit is like a parallel loose trouser with a slightly flared look

Indo-Western fusion garments are usually a combination of Western-style patterns and Indian designs. Usually, in Indo-Western style salwar kameez, decorative stoles are used as an accessory for added effect.

With more and more Indian women, both young and old, going for western apparels, designers are thinking of innovative ways to attract their attention back towards the good old salwar kameez. They have thus come up with the idea of indo-western salwar kameez which, as the name suggests, is a combination of western looks in the traditional garment. This fusion of the east and west has created some truly unique looks that are very contemporary.

Indo-Western fusion garments are being largely preferred by Indian consumers and have now become 'the in thing'. These garments are gaining acceptance in the Indian mindset, and are becoming the choice of apparel at formal and informal events, as well as for work wear.

The most accepted indo-western style suit is the Capri suit, a Capri style churidaar is wore with a short kurti and dupatta,to give it more Indian feel, these type of suits are made in Indian fabrics like brocade, silk, chiffon, cotton etc.
Another piece of Indo-Western fashion wear that is highly preferred in India is a kurti paired with a straight-cut pant-style salwar and a dupatta.
This trend of Indo-Western fusion wear has also gradually spread to bridal wear. Sarees are being draped in the Grecian style, and saree blouses are becoming more and more westernized in pattern. Lehengas worn with halter tops is another example of Indo-Western fusion fashion that is being accepted as wedding wear.

And there's a little secret too, guys also love girls with Indian outfits, and this type of indo-western look is perfect for looking that sexy and shy Indian beauty.

So, all you metroholic gals what are you waiting, there is a whole of range available in market of indo-western collection, hurry, and grab at least a piece of your choice and bring back that sophisticated, feminine Indian beauty with a modern twist and Be Fashionable….!!!!!!!

SHIFT THAT FASHION WITH SHIFT DRESSES

The saying that history repeats itself can also be applied to fashion. Past trends shape future fashion all the time, even during spring-summer 2009.

Many of these styles bring comfort to people because they make them think of a more stable time.

If we go back a little from the seventies then we can see that, as always, the sixties have never really completely gone out of fashion either. Shift dresses are back, both in mini form or presented in the more formal, longer version. This is great news for women who want something simple to throw on for party wear

Popular since the 1960s and still going strong, the shift dress provides the perfect combination of class and sexiness. The shift dress is flattering on most body shapes and works great for showing off long legs.  This is a versatile garment which can be used to quickly create a look with minimal effort; a couple of pieces of jewellery should suffice.

The Shift Dress is a classic staple piece for every woman's wardrobe. New Look is probably best known for affordable fashion that moves fast, which happily means that once in a while they take a chance on some very retro pieces. These Shift Dresses are a great pair of sixties looks that are affordable and effortless.

Today, shift dresses come in a variety of updated styles which includes different sleeves and embellishments and are accessorized by wearing them with the now popular opaque tights and heels or slapping a belt over them to define your waist

The A-line shift dress is a must-have wardrobe staple for this spring and summer. Easy to wear with a silhouette that flatters a wide range of figures, pick up the 2009 shift dress in one of the season's bold, radiant colors like orange, yellow, royal blue or purple.

A-line shift dresses that can be worn over pants and long sleeved full-length dresses are to be in store

A shift dress is a classic piece in itself so. You don't have to accessorize it much, just one piece of statement jewelry at a time whether it be a nickpiece, earrings  or bracelets or handcuffs, just keep it simple and you can beat everyone else's style.

So all you fashion follower metroholicas, there's a large variety of shift dresses available in market, go and grab one of your style before anyone else picks it up and Be Fashionable…….!!!!!!!!!

ITS RAINING-MONSOON FASHION

It's Raining!!!! It's Raining!!!! Yes monsoon has just knocked the door, and fear of getting drenched and how can we stay stylish this season too…

The thought of walking out that door with pressed clothes and neat hair is nearly frightful in the wet season. One downpour and your hair is all limp, your clothes are all drenched and your teeth are all clenched. But don't go cursing the dark clouds.

Earlier, people used to dress shabbily during this season. However, with the changing times, fashion lovers have all the opportunity to make themselves look better even in this murky atmosphere.

I personally love this season and I know everyone else too because this season brings back the romance, fun in everyone's life, but some people are afraid of this season as they don't know how to look fashionable this season too and I am not afraid because I know how to keep it stylish in monsoon, and I am here to help all of you to enjoy this season and stay stylish.

You just have to follow five simple tips to look gorgeous, trendy and stylish in this monsoon:-

The first and the most important accessory of this season is umbrella's and raincoats, there is a whole lot range of cute and trendy stuff available in markets now a days, you should always carry them with you in your bag as rain comes anytime without ringing your phone.

The second important thing is avoid denims, harem pants and all those big and baggy clothes for this season as denims takes a lot of time to get dry and baggy stuff drenches all the rain and gives a wet feeling and also sometimes becomes a peek-a-boo.

Instead, go for hot pants, capris, and skirts and that too knee length skirt or above it.

And if you are a bhartiya naari and don't wear these stuff only wear suits, then don't wear salwars and patialas although you love them as they are also baggy and gives a yuck yuck feeling to you as well as to others, instead wear short length kurtis and churidars.

For an evening or a party wear during the monsoons, go for Lycra chic shirts and pants or even Lycra business suits that are easy to wash too. Avoid wearing layered dresses in the rainy seasons as they only add to the muddle.

Colors for this season can be darker but juicy colors are the best like orange, yellow and aqua.

The third thing to keep in mind is don't wear too much accessories in this season whether you are going in an accessory competition, just wear a cute pair of earrings and a transparent bangle or hand cuff.

Big bags are required to carry your umbrella or raincoat. After all, you would not want to be stranded in the rains without one. Keep your nice suede or velvet bags for other occasions. Stick to plastic during the rains as they require zilch maintenance.

The fourth thing is footwear just lock all your high heels and leather footwear in your wardrobe, as they are a complete no-no this season, instead opt for rubber chappals and flip flops, which are available in market in bulk in classy colors and designs. Ankle length gumboots are also advisable which can go fantastically with western attires.

The fifth and one of the most important things is hair and make-up first step to keep in mind while doing make-up this season is that everything should be waterproof. Eyeliner, kaajal, mascara, lip color etc. everything should be waterproof. Avoid applying any make-up like foundation or rouge. For your hair, it is best to keep a hustle free hairstyle for the rainy seasons so that your hair does not mess in the rains. If you like your hair open then first apply gel on it and always keep a rubber band in your bag too. Use of conditioners should be limited for the monsoon days, as conditioners tend to limp your hair.

Clean your skin regularly with a good cleanser followed by a toning and moisturizing process suitable to your skin type. Wash your face repeatedly to avoid accumulation of dirt, germs or oil on your face

So all you metroholicas just follow all these above mentioned simple rules and start shopping for this season, en

Gone are the days of hiding your figure, wearing those loose and baggy garments. The year 2009 has something different for all those fashion addicts, show your body and flaunt it; you are beautiful after all...

From super skinny pants – topped with printed tunics, to more skinny pants and pencil skirts, a slim silhouette looks just right for Fall 09. When slim trousers are topped with oversized layers on top, belts keep everything from becoming too overwhelming

Finally, fashion experts say it's time to say bye-bye to your baby doll dresses that hide your womanly curves. That's right; to be hip and fashionable this fall you need to stock up on sexy sheath dresses. This season it's all about the hourglass shape of a woman's body and sheath-style dresses display that.

Over-the-top, exaggerated silhouettes have been seen on the runways for fall 2009.  However, the skinny look is still going strong.  Shown as skintight cocktail dresses, skinny pants paired with billowing tops or painted-on blouses that reveal every little imperfection, these looks aren't leaving anything to the imagination.

All the fashionistas agrees that she loves a slim silhouette. Whether it's a body hugging sweater over a skinny pant, or a pencil skirt topped with a belted jacket, this one's always a winner in her book.

Pairing layers of slim fitting separates, such as leggings with a pencil skirt, creates an illusion of being covered while still showing off the female form. Luckily, designers were able to keep the looks fresh and less 1980's inspired, which can be hard to do with a pair of bright leggings.

This look makes you look sexy, beautiful, confident, and comfortable and also sheds that extra kilo away from you.

So metroholicas if being slim is in how can you all stay away from it, go and buy a couple of dresses with slim silhouette and  show everyone how beautiful you are and Be Fashionable….!!!!!!

THE IN THING-MONOCHROMATIC FASHION

Fashion is all about retro styles and cuts this spring. With inspiration from the sixties, eighties and nineties, expect the Spring 09 season to be awash with monochrome, neon and shimmering patterns. One of the many trends for summer 2009 has emerged itself, both on and off the runway. It has taken color blocking one step further—Monochromatic.

Monochrome is one of the simplest, most chic of looks to work whatever the year. Monochrome never fails to gain attention when done well. If you don't want to stress over mixing and matching the perfect outfit, monochromatic is the way to go, but avoid that overly solid look by throwing in a few different textures and accessories to jazz things up.

Wearing one color from top to bottom really works to elongate a petite frame. Monochrome dressing can slim down, add a chicness that was just absent before, and look effortless while actually being easy! Everyone has worn it, from the models to the fashion icons to the celebrities to us bloggers. Infinitesimal amounts of designers have showcased this classic look in a show.

But monochromatic doesn't only mean wearing one hue top to bottom; you can wear the tints and shades of one hue also.

A literal interpretation of the monochromatic outfit is head to toe in one color. This can work incredibly well or look incredibly tacky. If you choose to go this route, make your outfit as simple as possible. A dress with matching sandals looks chic. On the other hand, matching slacks, shirt, jacket, shoes and accessories can look overdone or old-fashioned. Limit the number of pieces you wear and edit carefully.

Monochromatic dressing certainly has the potential to be very dull. To avoid this problem, tweak a monochromatic look with stylish cuts in the clothing.

Monochrome is capsule dressing and will stretch that tight budget. Long after colored garments have faded into last season's oblivion you will still be able to wear monochrome classics that stand the test of time.

And girls if you feel afraid of wearing a single color outfit with similar color accessories then don't worry just wear contrasting color accessories with your dress but those accessories should be monochromatic.

So girls go and adopt this monochromatic fashion, and stay updated with fashion. Be fashionable!!!!!!
